Mississippi Parents for Vaccine Rights invites citizens statewide to reach out to their lawmakers NOW and have a conversation focused on changing state vaccine law. MPVR champions vaccine rights legislation that will make parents the final authority over their children's healthcare, especially concerning vaccines.
Statewide Regional Director, Cheryl Peeples, will be scheduling meetings for you to meet with your lawmakers Tuesday and Wednesday, January 9th & 10th, when we will have Emmy Award winning investigative medical journalist, Del Bigtree with us at the capitol. Bigtree and his non-profit, Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), have done a thorough investigation on the state of vaccine safety in the United States. The shocking result of this investigation was presented to the heads of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. in a private meeting arranged by the Trump Administration in May of 2017.
We are asking you to schedule a meeting with your lawmaker to meet with MPVR leadership on your behalf - even if you are unable to come to the Capitol Tuesday or Wednesday. Please contact Cheryl to schedule meetings. Message Cheryl on Facebook here or send an email with the subject line "Leg Apt + (lawmakers last name)" to [email protected]
MPVR leadership and Del will also be hosting the Black Caucus and Conservative Coalition luncheons on Wednesday, January 10th, and Thursday, January 11th. Your generous donations afford us the opportunity to cater their lunch and present to them during these two luncheons.
Donations can be made via PayPal to [email protected] or by using the Donate link found at the top right corner of this site. We depend on your donations; no amount is too small!
Thursday, January 11th is the day we need our base to show up! We have booked the capitol for the entire day. MPVR will have tables set up in the Capitol Rotunda and will hold a press conference on the Second Floor Rotunda that morning (time TBA) where we need numbers and will have speakers that you will not want to miss. The press conference will be followed by events on the Capitol South Steps that will be announced as plans are finalized.
Please plan to be present Thursday, and regardless of whether you are able to attend Tuesday or Wednesday to meet with your lawmaker. We still need you to set up meetings. MPVR leadership will meet with your lawmaker on your behalf, but we MUST have constituents asking for these meetings and laying the groundwork. Please work and network with other members within your regional chapter facebook groups to make this happen NOW.
Our focus this year as we champion a non-medical vaccine waiver law is:
Vaccine Safety Science has NOT been done.
This is it.
The time is now.
This is YOUR chance to make a difference.
Our lawmakers don't know how we feel until you tell them.
They are not convinced until they get plenty of calls.
Those representing the medical establishment and their trade organizations ARE speaking to your lawmakers. They MUST hear from you. Today is the day. Please pick up the phone. We are out of time. Email is not going to be effective right now. Please call today and continue calling until you speak with your lawmaker. That may look like multiple calls a day. We are out of time and our children need you.
Look for details forthcoming that MPVR will be sharing via social media (Facebook & @mpvrights on Instagram), email as well as text concerning our event and session as well as information to arm you with what you need to be an effective advocate for medical freedom.
