Medical exemption laws vary from state to state. MS is not the only state where the health dept can deny a doctor-recommended vaccine (after all, who know more about your child than some bureaucrat in the state capital who has never seen your child?), so we should fight for doctors' right to make vaccine decisions for their patients in all states where this is needed. But MS *is* the only state where religious exemptions are "unconstitutional" due to a MS State Supreme Court ruling about 35 years ago. The bottom line, though, is that current vaccine policy and law throughout the country is based on a corrupt system. So, we must document and expose the corruption, so all legislatures will see the need to enable all parents to make an informed choice. Alan Phillips, JD www.vaccinerights.com
